The texts deal with a pilgrimage and the ritual hunt at or near this place, and the constructions connected with it. In Proceedings of the Seminar for Arabian Studies 14 (1984): 33-41, Freddie published an edited version of Mahmud al-Ghul's study of RES 4176, followed by a discussion of CIH 338 on the basis of a photograph sent him by Christian Robin.
